Light aids your body's ability to make the medicine required to help you rest and repair
It’s all about safety
Our body recognises being outdoors as safe due to our historical connection to the earth and all that IS
We are it and it is US and so therefore it is the SAFEST place to BE
It is in safety that our body can complete/fully express healing cycles and/or processes
We are born to be sun addicts
Well, we're born to be addicted to ourselves and each other and the hormones/energy/feelings we produce/cultivate along with anything that promotes these processes
Optimising them is the name of the game but we reside in a world that promotes a low energy form of hormones cycling which I know is possibly the hardest pill to swallow cos why oh why would they do that? Honestly, I don’t care anymore... they are... know it and then help yourself to be otherwise
Your hormones always cycle cos if they suddenly got fed up with all the shit and stopped so would you☠
But interestingly your body wants you here and so tries to get your attention when things are going awry - symptoms
The way you rest at night, how you wake and overall energy is a HUGE indication of your hormones... well actually of your overall level of THREAT
If you are in threat your body won't let you rest and subsequently HEAL
Letting your body know what time of day it is will help your body feel SAFE and know when to rise, be awake and when to sleep
Safety first as this promotes all kinds of healing
Watch sun up, sun down and as much as you CAN in the day, even if it's just keeping the windows open to let the day in
Do what you can and expand when you're able
Come in peace always
We are spectrum beings and so need to be exposing our selves to the whole spectrum of light as often as possible
We would be outdoors all the time in an ideal world but we have slowly made our way indoors over the years in the name of safety when in fact what we are doing is the exact opposite of where we as human beings find our safety
I always say these days to do exactly the opposite of what we are told to do or that is deemed good for us and generally you are good to go
I have been at both ends of the spectrum and now in this experimental time of my life I can safely say that society as we know it is dangerous for our health and being indoors all day is probably up there with the most dangerous
Behind windows and in front of screens exposes you to a fraction of the light spectrum available to us and therefore reduces the ability of our body to regulate at an optimal level
You will live but sub-optimally
Which is where most of us are residing our whole life and wondering where these symptoms are coming from
We are not fully exposing ourselves to nature or ourselves and over exposing ourselves to toxins and the body does not feel safe
And with sleep it is dictated by the amount and type of light you are exposed to, OPPOSITES
